As discovered by Destiny 2 dataminer Ginsor, the Fortnite skins (opens in a new tab) appeared somewhere in the depths of Destiny’s coding.

Supposed to be a promotional image, it shows Destiny’s three classes – Hunter, Titan, Warlock – each with a different Fortnite-flavored outfit.

Without confirmation from Epic or Bungie, it’s impossible to say it’s 100% authentic, but if it’s true, it looks like the Titans will get the Black Knight, Hunter’s Omega, and Warlocks, Drift skins.

Unfortunately, no other information is available, so right now it’s unclear how these skins will be made available,

or if Destiny characters and assets will appear in Fortnite during the crossover event. As always, we’ll keep you posted and let you know as soon as we know more.

Fortnite and Destiny 2 are reportedly crossovers

Fortnite and Destiny 2 are said to be crossovers, meaning both games will receive skins and content from the other title.

Both Fortnite and Destiny 2 are some of the biggest games with live services. Epic Games regularly supports Fortnite with massive drops of new content from skins to major events that disrupt the entire way the game is perceived.

It’s a truly unique experience that’s been half a decade in the making. Bungie was one of the first developers in the console space to really envision a modern live-service game,

as Destiny was expected to have a “10-year plan,” though that fell apart a bit when the developer made Destiny 2, which may be more consistent. with that primordial vision.

Due to this, the two revolutionary games will supposedly cross each other. According to GinsorKR on Twitter, some Fortnite skins have been found in Destiny 2.

They’re actually incredibly cool skins, though it’s unclear how they’ll be incorporated into Bungie’s game.

As Destiny 2 features individual pieces of armor that offer certain benefits, it is unknown if this is purely cosmetic or if they will be part of some larger quest.

Fortnite is also rumored to get some Destiny 2 content as well, though nothing specific has been mentioned.

The new Destiny 2 show is scheduled to take place on August 23, so it’s likely that this information will be announced there.

At this point, it’s unclear how big this crossover will be in terms of content. However, the fact that the two games essentially swap content is a new strategy.

A brand usually promotes its latest product, such as a movie or Fortnite game, through some skins, but it’s rare that it goes both ways.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed, so some, if not all, of this information may be incorrect, so take it with a grain of salt.

New Destiny 2 leaks reveal upcoming Fortnite-inspired armor sets

A Destiny 2 dataminer has revealed three armor sets based on Fortnite characters that will be part of the upcoming collaboration.

Fortnite has collaborated with a number of other video games, but these usually involve characters from popular franchises being transformed into playable Fortnite skins.

Rarely have we seen a Fortnite character break into another video game. Jonesy or Peeley will team up with Batman and such once in a while. But to play as these characters in a video game, you have to play Fortnite.

However, the upcoming Destiny 2 collaboration breaks that mold by bringing Fortnite-inspired armor sets to Bungie’s popular looter-shooter.

Notable Destiny 2 dataminer GinsorKR recently posted an image of three upcoming armor sets. But more importantly, these sets would be based on three of Fortnite’s most iconic skins.

Simply captioned “Fortnite Destiny Confirmed,” the image would show armor sets for each class. Titan would resemble the legendary Black Knight skin.

Warlock would be based on the 5th series Drift skin. And Hunter would be inspired by the Omega 100 skin.

These will likely be unlocked through timed challenge sets or at the end of special missions. And knowing Epic Games, players can expect to see a new set of cosmetics coming to the Fortnite item shop.

We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more details on the collaboration. But until then, check out every single crossover and collaboration in Fortnite history.
